Software Developer: Junior
About Us:
Redshred is a leading innovator in making document-based content accessible for downstream integration and innovation through the creative use of AI and ML.
Job Responsibilities:
- Software Development: Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code for our document processing platform.
- Feature Implementation: Develop and enhance features for our web applications and APIs.
- Testing & Debugging: Create comprehensive test suites and fix bugs to ensure software reliability.
- Documentation: Maintain clear documentation for code, APIs, and development processes.
- Collaboration: Work closely with senior developers, data scientists, and product teams to implement solutions.
- Learning: Actively learn new technologies and programming best practices to grow technical skills.
- Code Review: Participate in code reviews to improve code quality and deepen understanding of the codebase.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience: 0-2 years of professional software development experience.
- Technical Skills:Proficiency in at least one programming language (Python, JavaScript, Java, or similar).
- Basic understanding of web development concepts (HTML, CSS, REST APIs).
- Familiarity with version control systems (Git).
- Knowledge of software development methodologies.
- Soft Skills:Strong problem-solving abilities and logical thinking.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies.
- Attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Other Requirements: Must be able to obtain security clearance.
